MEC Soldiers
The Middle Eastern Coalition is a fictional faction ported over to Project Reality from the original Battlefield 2, the faction was not removed due to the already existing assets available for the MEC (Voices, Skins, Vehicles, etc.) The MEC can be thought of as based on middle eastern armed forces, notably Iran. The MEC is also serving as a place holder on the map Sbeneh Outskirts until the SAF (Syrian Armed Forces) is complete.
In Game Details[]
The MEC is a OPFOR faction on almost all the maps it is featured on except for Sbeneh Outskirts, in which it is a BLUFOR faction.

- G3 Bayonet - Bayonet designed for the G3A3. Can be attached to the rifle w/o HK79 UGL equipped.

- P226R - 9x19mm Semi-Automatic Handgun. Used by pilots, snipers and officers.
- MP5A3 - 9x19mm Submachine Gun. Used by tank crewmen.
- G3A3 - 7.62x51mm Battle Rifle. Standard issue rifle used by almost every unit. Can be equipped with a Zeiss Z-Point Reflex Sight or a Hensoldt Fero Z24 (4x) optic.
- MG3 - 7.62x51mm General-Purpose Machine Gun. Used by autoriflemen and machine gunners. Can utilize 50 round or 100 round magazines, depending on the kit selected. Can be equipped with a M145 MGO (3.4x) optic.
- G3SG1 - 7.62x51mm DMR variant of the G3A3. Used by marksmen.
- SSGP1 - 7.62x51mm Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle. Used by snipers.
- Saiga-12K - 12 Gauge Semi-Automatic Shotgun. Used by breachers.

- RPG-26 - 72.5mm Single-Use Disposable Anti-Tank Launcher. Used by light anti-tank.
- RPG-7 - 40mm Reusable Anti-Tank Launcher. Used by light anti-tank and heavy anti-tank. Can fire the PG-7V 85mm HEAT or Iranian Tandem HEAT (105mm) warheads. Heavy anti-tank will have a PGO-7V3 (2.7x) optic attached to their RPG-7s.

- EC635 Eurocopter - Multirole helicopter. Can be used for CAS or transportation. CAS version is equipped with 2x 12.7mm Gun Pods.
- SOKO HN-45M Gama 2 - Light Attack Helicopter with 4x ATGMs. This variant is a licensed-built Yugoslav model of the French made SA-342 Gazelle.
- Mi-17 Hip - Multirole Helicopter. Can be used for transportation.
- Mi-28N Havoc - Attack Helicopter.
- Mi-24V Hind - Attack Helicopter. Can also be used to transport infantry.
